Svenskhomes Standard Timber on Timber kit will include:

  • Timber profile 58mm x 145mm (cut and jacked for corners – each board is marked with a number)
  • Counter membrane & 19mm x 70mm battens
  • Steel band wind bracing BMF 25mm x 2mm
  • 45mm x 145mm framework
  • 145mm mineral wool insulation + plastic foil vapour control
  • Internal 12mm x 120mm PTGV timber matching wall panel or 13mm gypsum plaster board

⁽¹⁾ These elements relate to standard specification only. Any costs associated with changes necessary because of purchaser’s variations or addition of any combination of optional extras are payable by the purchaser at time of order / deposit.

⁽²⁾Where required by UK Building Regulations, toughened security glazing to BS EN 12600 is supplied.

Purchaser’s responsibility:

• Planning permission
• Approval of UK Building Regulations from your local county council as applicable. (n.b. All Svenskhomes are designed to comply in principle with UK Building Regulations only so far as the delivered kit is concerned.⁽¹⁾ )
• Project management & construction
• All ground works: sewers, drainage, water/gas/electric supply
• Foundations
• Offloading from delivery vehicle – forklift or similar required
• Post Delivery Care.  All packs are delivered 5 side plastic wrapped on trailers. After delivery to site, packs must be stored clear of the ground on bearers in a covered area or under a tarpaulin, protected from the elements.No claims for weathering or deterioration will be entertained if these precautions are not taken.
• Plumbing, heating & electrical installations
• Tiling battens, roof tiles, gutters and drainpipes
• Treatment of all external surfaces
• Treatment of all internal surfaces (inc. Intumescent fire retardant finish if required by local UK Building Regulations)
